Hours of operation are Monday thru Friday : 7.00 am-5.30 pm or Specific Contracted Hours
I provide a loving caring home environment for your child care needs. I provide a clean, safe fun filled and educating atmosphere for your children. I take care of your child in a warm secure home, provide play time, rest time and a fun filled day. I bring over 9 years of child care experience .
Our child care service includes several activities both indoor and outdoor (Weather permitting). Our home is very close with a beautiful park, so play time becomes very fun and exciting for your child.
LIA’S FAMILY DAYCARE is located on Stevenson rd in a family neighborhood in Chilliwack, B.C., The areas in the home used for daycare are child-proofed and safe, with lots of educational toys and activities for structured and unstructured play.
I offer planned, monthly thematic studies each week. The availability is on a first come serve basis.
Indoor Areas
The daycare area in the house is a separate room on the lower level of the home. The communication walls are when entering daycare and this is where you sign your child in and out, also where newsletter and any notices are posted.
The play area is well organized with many shelves of educational toys, books, educational videos puzzles and activities that the children are quite familiar with. They are encouraged to play with any appropriate items, but also taught to return toys to their proper places when they are done with them. I also have separate bedroom that is used for nap time
In the main room there is a play kitchen area where the children will pretend "cook" meals for each other, In addition there is kids size table for the older children and highchairs for the little ones providing comfortable seating for all at meal times and for activities that might be more comfortable at a table.
Toys are available to the children that include large play-area toys, and other active items that encourage gross motor skill development and good exercise for the kids.
In addition there are cars, building blocks, Lego table and other fine-motor skill activities at hand at all times , also in this room has computers for older kids. We have our restroom right off main play room with potty chairs for potty training :)
Outdoor Areas
We like to spend some time outdoors as often as weather permits, each day that the children are here. The backyard is set up for the children with a sandbox play area, a playhouse ". For climbing around there is a multi-stage stair, slide system where the children can climb through holes into different chambers and slide down and out. At mealtime, if the weather is nice, there is also an outdoor child-sized picnic table in this area as well. The final area is the backyard lawn where the children play ball, ride their bikes and cars, and tons of other activities.
Licensed means that I am governed by the FRASER HEALTH inspector & fire inspector.
Certain extra safety criteria must be met to become licensed.
Criminal record checks for the entire family & substitutes.
