 LIA’S FAMILY DAYCARE 

DAILY PROGRAM SCHEDULE

7: 00 am----- Centre Opens - Inside Free Play, breakfast for those that have not eaten yet
8:15 AM    ---Drop off older children at school
8:55 AM   --- clean-up, hand washing ,

9:00 AM ---- Calendar, Weather Chart and Story Time (circle time)

9:30 AM ---- Art time;          Planned Activities
10:00 AM -----Nutritious Snack - provided by the parents
10:30 AM --- Inside or Outside Play (weather permitting) - activities include visiting local parks, going on walks and bike rides, or remaining at the daycare yard

11:15 AM ---Pick up   or Drop off kindergarten at/from school

11 :45 AM ---hand washing –songs- Lunch - provided by the parents
 
12 :15 PM ---Brush Teeth Quiet Book Time before Nap (bathroom routines )

12:45 PM ---- Naptime - Children remaining awake may do books, puzzles, other quiet activities while others sleep

2:15 PM ---- Children wake to go pick up older children from school. Weather permitting - outside play in the school yard
(If not picking up school children, napping will continue until children awake)

3:00 PM---- snack time - provided by the parents

3:20 PM ----home work, story time, art time or free play depends the children ages ;          Planned Activities

4:20 PM ---Inside/ Outside Play (weather permitting) in yard until centre closes

5:20 pm Centre Closes

I will try to follow this schedule but depending on the needs of the children, the day to day routine may vary accordingly.

Felt stories; Story time

Blocks/building; Printing

ABC/123   ; Nature walks

Park; organized indoor/outdoor games

Pretend Play; Dress up

Art* non- structured; Science

* Special activities:

Baby chicks in classroom (eggs-chickens)

Pet- show and tell day

Family Picnics

Movie theater day
